Álvaro Brechner

Álvaro Brechner, Uruguayan filmmaker, producer and screenwriter. He began his career directing several documentaries including "The nine mile walk" until 2009 when he wrote, directed and produced his debut "Mal día para pescar". He would later direct Mr Kaplan, a work that earned him numerous awards both in Spain and in Latin America, his latest feature La noche de los 12 was selected in the 75th edition of the Venice international film festival.
