Jorrit Stollman

That director from Netherlands has a fascination for things that the human eye cannot capture. Whether with Motion Control Robotics, high speed, extreme macro, visual FX, live action and even thumbnails. He always seeks to combine high-level technical applications with a lot of imagination and fantasy to create projects that are tactile, that turn the two-dimensional surface of the screen into much more than that. Always R&D, reinventing himself has always been the common thread of his career. From running an animation studio, a production company or even studying microbiology. Sensory contrasts are key in his work and when he has some free time, he tries to explore all kinds of cinematographic elements and techniques in my own studio in Amsterdam, which could be the basis for a whole new kind of narrative. Something driven by art, style, and an eye for extreme precision.
